On the path to a digital and inclusive Europe

What if digital twins can help lowering tresholds?

The European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness project is exploring how cities can use digital twins and AI to make urban spaces more accessible and inclusive.

Inclusive User Research

For many citizens, uncertainty about accessibility, crowds or unfamiliar environments can be a barrier to participation. What does the place look like? How loud will it be? Is there a quiet space nearby? These questions can determine whether they can participate at all.

That is why the project works closely with families with different accessibility perspectives to explore how inclusive urban experiences can be designed from the start.

Creating Immersive Pre-Visits

By combining the local digital twin, immersive technology and AI individuals can explore urban environments before visiting in real life – directly from a computer, tablet or mobile device.

The experience makes it possible to preview accessibility, understand the environment and reduce uncertainty before attending an event or visiting a new place.

Our project name tells our story

European signifies where we operate, raising stakeholder-wide awareness.
Citiverses defines what we're building – a groundbreaking initiative developing a new digital layer in urban life, connecting people, places, and services through AI-enhanced digital twins.
Uniting describes how we work, using the methodology Universal Design to create a human-centric solution. Inclusiveness is why we do it – setting new accessibility standards across Europe.
